I am extremely worried about meeting the deadline for the exhibition in motion project. I am going to spend as much time in the studio before the deadline. I am making good progress, but I am still nervous. It is a big first project with a lot of new techniques being used. I will have it done! I have never missed a deadline and don't plan on it.
Last week a formed my acrylic into the shape I desired. I used the heat gun and a bowl a water. When the acrylic started to slump to far I put it into the cold water to stop it. It actually worked very well. I am pleased with the results, the texture I added to it works very well.

I haven't had the chance to go to Great Lakes Plastic for some of my material. I gathered some other things to start the process. In searching for materials I have found inspiration for other work and some possible changes to my exhibtion in motion project. A design is no stranger to change and evolution.

I finished my model for class. I need to adjust some things here and there. So I can probably start working on the piece as soon as I gather my material. I hope it comes out as I envisioned, but they rarely do.

The picture displayed as part of my profile is the inspiration for one of my exhibition in motion project. I don't think I will be going forth with that idea because I have come up with something more interesting. I will be using my wife's anatomy book for references. The human body and the mechanics it takes to function are intriguing to me.

Exhibition In Motion Project

I have lots of ideas brewing in my head. It is hard to narrow them down. I want it to be spectacular, which makes it hard to reduce the ideas.
